Geodis OverseasGeodis Overseas was the freight forwarding arm of the Geodis Group, whose roots go back to Calberson in 1904. It was officially founded in 1995 as a spin-off from the French national railway’s non-rail goods transport operations. Together with other Geodis divisions, Geodis Overseas coordinated all or part of the logistics chain, providing customers with solutions tailored to optimizing their physical and information flows. In 2007, Geodis Overseas merged with Wilson Logistics to form Geodis Wilson.



Wilson LogisticsWilson Logistics’ experience began in 1843, when Englishman John West Wilson began his shipping and trading company in Gothenburg, Sweden. By 1850 his steamship services were transporting cargo, mail and passengers. After more than a century of success, a series of strategic acquisitions and global expansion ultimately led to its acquisition and transformation into TNT Freight Management in 2004. In 2007, the company was sold to the Geodis Group.



R&LRohde & Liesenfeld (R&L) was founded in 1954 and quickly established itself as a provider of sophisticated logistics services with access to all important trade routes. Their large-scale project expertise in the industrial sector was perfectly complemented by customer-oriented services, flexibility and close relationship management. Having been one of Geodis’ main strategic partners since 2002, R&L officially became a member of the Geodis Group in early 2008.
